Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is recognized as a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services. Founded in 2015, OVG's expertise covers venue development and encompasses a broad range of services including venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The company proudly manages and operates a distinguished portfolio of seven world-class venues as well as serves an impressive client roster consisting of renowned arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions spanning four continents. Located in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia, Oak View Group's Centennial Yards venue is a key site showcasing their commitment to excellence in live entertainment and guest experience.
The Valet Parking Lead role at Oak View Group’s Centennial Yards location offers a dynamic part-time opportunity in Atlanta’s bustling entertainment and event management environment. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-facing roles and are committed to delivering exceptional service. Reporting directly to the Manager of Parking & Transportation, the Valet Parking Lead is responsible for overseeing the valet parking team and ensuring smooth, professional, and courteous vehicle handling and guest interactions throughout event operations.
This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $18.50 and is eligible for tips, creating a rewarding earning potential for motivated candidates. Part-time employees are also eligible for 401(k) savings plans and matching contributions, highlighting OVG’s commitment to supporting the financial well-being of its workforce.
As the Valet Parking Lead, you will be the primary point of contact for the valet ambassadors and client representatives on-site, setting the tone for a seamless and memorable guest arrival experience. You will greet guests warmly and professionally, assist with vehicle door operations and luggage handling, and provide directions and information about the facility and local area. Ensuring the safety and efficiency of parking and retrieval operations is paramount, as is maintaining accurate logs for all vehicles and keys.
A key aspect of this role is the leadership responsibility; you will not only manage the physical aspects of parking but also coordinate with your team to maximize lot capacity and maintain orderly, hazard-free valet areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will prevent accidents and maintain guest trust. Furthermore, you will utilize valet management systems or ticketing software to enhance operational accuracy and streamline processes.
