The role of Setup Crew at the Greenville SC Convention Center is a part-time, on-call position that plays a critical role in the successful execution of events held at this major venue. This position requires a flexible schedule, as work hours can include long shifts, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays. The Setup Crew members are responsible for the physical setup and breakdown of event spaces, including the arrangement of risers, staging, basketball floors, chairs, tables, pipe and drape, and various other elements essential to venue readiness. The position offers an hourly wage of $17.00 and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching, specifically designed for part-time employees.

Job Duties
- work in a manner that is safe and effective
- set up and tear down including risers, staging, basketball floor, chairs, tables, pipe and drape, and other items as needed for events at the facility
- handle folding chairs, stacking chairs, tables of various shapes and sizes, drapery, and skirting
- read and interpret paperwork regarding room set-ups
- responsible for properly cleaning and maintaining specific areas of the facility
- support all conversions as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
