Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, offering an extensive platform covering venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Since its founding in 2015, OVG has grown to serve seven world-class owned venues and a distinguished clientele including some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Known for its forward-thinking approach and commitment to innovation, OVG elevates the live event experience for millions of fans and guests worldwide. The company prides itself on its diverse and inclusive workplace culture, valuing the contributions of all employees to foster excellence and service quality. This specific opening is with OVG’s venue at Colorado State University — Canvas Stadium — a vibrant outdoor college football stadium located in Fort Collins, Colorado. Canvas Stadium, which opened in 2017, marked the return of Rams football games to campus after a 50-year hiatus and has since played a pivotal role in enhancing the campus community experience through sports and entertainment events.

The role of Server at Canvas Stadium is a part-time position designed for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality environment. Servers at this venue are expected to deliver exceptional guest service during the dynamic and energized setting of college football games and other catering events. This position offers an hourly wage of $16.00 plus tips and includes eligibility for a $200 bonus upon working all seven home football games of the 2026 season, which underlines the importance of commitment and reliability in this role. The football season opener begins on Saturday, September 5th, with subsequent games scheduled throughout the season, emphasizing that flexibility and availability to work during peak event days are crucial. The role does not only focus on game days but may also involve catering events at the venue, providing varied work experiences and opportunities to deepen hospitality skills.

Working as a Server for Oak View Group at Canvas Stadium means being part of a team that values professionalism, responsiveness, and cooperation. The server is responsible for knowing the menu thoroughly, providing friendly and efficient service, maintaining high standards in food presentation and temperature, and contributing to an overall memorable guest experience. Communication with waitstaff, kitchen personnel, and management staff is essential to ensure smooth operations and impressive service delivery. Beyond these duties, the role offers benefits tailored for part-time employees, including access to a 401(k) savings plan with matching and accrued paid leave, demonstrating OVG's commitment to employee well-being and development even within its part-time workforce. This position remains open until September 18, 2026, providing candidates the opportunity to join this vibrant team and be a part of memorable live entertainment experiences at Colorado State University.
