Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, specializing in venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Established in 2015, OVG manages a diverse portfolio of seven world-class venues and works with some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Committed to innovation and excellence, OVG aims to deliver superior experiences in the sports and live entertainment industry by fostering inclusivity and celebrating diverse communities. The group is dedicated to maintaining environments where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives.
One of OVG's standout venues is Polar Park, located in Worcester, Massachusetts. Polar Park is a state-of-the-art baseball stadium that serves as the home field for the Worcester Red Sox, a Minor League Baseball team competing at the Triple-A level and affiliated with the Boston Red Sox. Opened in 2021, the park boasts a seating capacity of 9,508, providing fans a premier live sports experience in a modern facility. The venue combines passionate community engagement with top-tier entertainment, making it a vibrant location for both workers and visitors.
The Premium Food Runner role at Polar Park plays an essential part in the hospitality team, supporting the DCU Club, an exclusive premium seating area within the park. This is a part-time position with an hourly wage of $15 plus eligibility for tips. The Premium Food Runner is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of food from the kitchen to customers, working closely with both kitchen and serving staff to maintain effective communication and a smooth service flow. The position requires not only physical stamina to carry trays and navigate a busy environment but also excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests professionally and courteously.
This job offers an opportunity to work within a fast-paced, event-driven environment, providing hands-on experience in food service in a premium setting. The role contributes significantly to the overall guest experience by inspecting dishes for quality and accuracy, aiding with clearing and resetting tables, and assisting guests with menu inquiries. Moreover, part-time employees at OVG benefit from access to a 401(k) savings plan with employer matching, emphasizing the company’s commitment to employee well-being and financial security.
As the position remains open until September 18, 2026, candidates have ample time to apply and become part of a diverse, dynamic team dedicated to creating memorable experiences for baseball fans and visitors. Working at Polar Park under OVG’s umbrella means joining a company that values innovation, teamwork, and inclusivity, aiming to shape the future of live entertainment hospitality with professionalism and care.
