Founded in 2015, the company manages and supports a collection of seven world-class venues, iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. OVG is renowned for delivering exceptional experiences for live entertainment enthusiasts and partners worldwide. The company blends innovation with operational excellence, driving the evolution of live entertainment venues to become dynamic hubs of cultural and community engagement.
Located in Lexington, Kentucky, Rupp Arena is a cornerstone venue managed by Oak View Group. Known as "the Cathedral of College Basketball," Rupp Arena boasts a seating capacity of 20,000 and is the home court for the National Champion University of Kentucky men’s basketball program. Beyond sports, Rupp Arena has hosted famed musical artists such as U2, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Justin Timberlake, Kenny Chesney, and Taylor Swift, solidifying its reputation as a premier destination for world-class entertainment. The arena sits in the heart of downtown Lexington at Lexington Center, which includes other prominent venues such as Central Bank Center — a large convention facility with over 99,000 square feet of exhibition space — the Lexington Opera House, which showcases Broadway productions and other arthouse performances, and the CommonSpirit Health Stage at Gatton Park, an outdoor venue for up to 5,000 attendees.
The Marketing Coordinator position is a part-time role based at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY. This role is pivotal in supporting marketing efforts across multiple venues, including Rupp Arena, Central Bank Center, Lexington Opera House, and Gatton Park. With an hourly wage of $15, the position emphasizes creative collaboration, event promotion, and grassroots marketing activations. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with marketing management, ticketing, and booking teams to align communication strategies and promotional initiatives.
Key responsibilities include assisting in distributing promotional materials, supporting marketing activations both behind the scenes and in public-facing roles, and contributing to content creation for digital platforms and social media. The coordinator will also manage SWAG and marketing collateral, coordinate mass communications such as email blasts and social media updates, and ensure marketing material information remains accurate and up to date. This role requires an adaptable and organized professional able to contribute across various marketing channels and provide valuable administrative support. It offers exposure to diverse aspects of entertainment marketing within a vibrant and culturally rich community environment.
The position remains open until September 4, 2026, and offers benefits including participation in a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions for part-time employees. Oak View Group values diversity and inclusivity, fostering an environment where varied perspectives drive innovation and excellence.
