OVG manages and operates a collection of seven world-class venues and collaborates with iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The company's mission is to create exceptional live entertainment experiences that bring people together, celebrating culture, sport, and music in vibrant, state-of-the-art venues. With a focus on innovation, inclusivity, and operational excellence, Oak View Group is committed to building engaging environments that support diverse communities and amplify the voices of all individuals.

One of OVG's premier locations is Jackson Field in downtown Lansing, Michigan. It is the home field of the Lansing Lugnuts baseball team and offers a first-rate experience for over 12,000 fans. Jackson Field is known for its lively atmosphere, excellent concessions, and fan-focused services during sporting events and special occasions.

The position open at this venue is for a Part-Time Line Cook, offering an hourly wage between $17.00 and $19.00. This role is essential in the concessions team, responsible for preparing high-quality foods served directly to guests. The Line Cook position demands a blend of culinary skills, attention to detail, and efficient service to maintain the superior food standards that Oak View Group upholds. The cook will be actively engaged in a fast-paced, event-driven environment, working closely with other kitchen staff and management to ensure that all food items are prepared according to company recipes, portioning guidelines, and food safety regulations.

This role is not only about cooking but also about providing excellent customer service, as the Line Cook often interacts with guests, slicing meats at buffet lines or preparing dishes to order. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, demonstrate excellent attendance habits, and exhibit the flexibility to work during various scheduled events as per business needs. The position requires adherence to sanitation, health, and safety standards in all work areas, responsibility for reporting maintenance needs of kitchen equipment, and collaborating with kitchen leadership to plan menus and anticipate food consumption for events.

Oak View Group values teamwork, clear communication, and a positive attitude, fostering a work environment where employees are supported and encouraged to excel. Additionally, the company emphasizes diversity and inclusion, recognizing the strength that varied perspectives bring to innovative live entertainment solutions. As a part-time team member, the Line Cook will also have access to benefits such as the 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, supporting their financial well-being.
