Founded in 2015, OVG offers a comprehensive platform that spans venue development along with end-to-end capabilities in venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. The company operates and manages seven world-class venues on four continents, including arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions. Oak View Group is committed to innovation and excellence in the live entertainment industry, emphasizing inclusivity and diversity as key drivers for growth and success.

One of OVG's notable locations is Dickey-Stephens Park (DSP) in North Little Rock, Arkansas, built in 2007. DSP is an iconic venue primarily serving as the home to the Arkansas Travelers, the Seattle Mariners' AA affiliate baseball team. Aside from hosting baseball games, Dickey-Stephens Park is a beloved community hub, hosting various entertainment and community events throughout the year that attract guests from across the region. This venue is strategically located just across the Arkansas River from downtown Little Rock, making it easily accessible for fans and visitors.

The Line Cook position at DSP is a part-time opportunity that involves preparing a variety of food items served to guests throughout the venue. The role requires working in fast-paced environments such as concession stands and premium serving stations as well as main and finish kitchens. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing hot and cold foods, including cold prep items like salads, meat slices, charcuterie boards, and vegetable trays. This role requires flexibility with shifts, offering morning prep and nightly game shifts depending on availability. The Line Cook plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, presentation, and timely delivery of food to guests, making it an essential part of the hospitality experience at DSP.

The hourly wage for this position ranges from $14.00 to $18.00, reflecting the importance of skill and experience in culinary preparation within a sports and entertainment setting. Part-time employees at OVG have access to several benefits, including a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, supporting long-term financial planning even in part-time roles. This position remains open until September 4, 2026, providing ample time for interested candidates to apply.

As part of the Oak View Group team, the Line Cook is expected to uphold the company's standards for excellent service and teamwork. Responsibilities include maintaining health, safety, and sanitation standards within the kitchen, reporting any maintenance issues, and working collaboratively with the kitchen supervisor and management team to plan menus and estimate food consumption. This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a cooperative, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Candidates with previous cooking or prep experience, particularly with standard kitchen equipment like broilers, steamers, and mixers, will find this position well-suited to their skills.
