Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, founded in 2015. The company operates a diverse platform that includes venue development, venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. OVG proudly manages a portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and supports a broad client roster that includes iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This extensive footprint enables OVG to deliver unparalleled experiences in live entertainment worldwide, driving innovation and excellence in every aspect of its operations.

The position of Kitchen Lead at Keesler Federal Park, located in Biloxi, Mississippi, offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team delivering exceptional food and beverage services at a premier sports venue. Opened in 2015 and originally known as MGM Park, Keesler Federal Park is the celebrated home of the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers baseball team, affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers. The ballpark boasts a seating capacity of over 6,000 and offers a rich fan experience with amenities including luxury suites, party decks, and one of the most advanced scoreboards in the region. Its coastal ambiance and strong community ties make it a vibrant location that blends sports excellence with local culture.

As the Kitchen Lead, you will play a crucial leadership role in the food preparation and service operations within this dynamic environment. This part-time role offers an hourly wage ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Your primary responsibility is to ensure guests receive high-quality and timely food and beverage service by supervising kitchen staff and overseeing all cooking operations including the preparation of meats, soups, and sauces following strict company recipes and portioning standards. In addition to cooking, you will coordinate tasks, train kitchen personnel, assist in controlling food and labor costs, and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards required for a top-tier hospitality operation.

The Kitchen Lead must be a proactive team player capable of working in a fast-paced, event-driven setting. You will routinely inspect kitchen areas to meet company standards, conduct monthly inventory checks, and communicate effectively with kitchen and management staff to align operations with menu planning and expected food consumption. This role requires excellent attendance and the flexibility to work at scheduled events as business needs dictate, reflecting the dynamic nature of the venue’s calendar.

Joining Oak View Group means becoming part of a diverse and inclusive team dedicated to disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry positively. OVG values innovation, respect, and teamwork, fostering an environment where your skills and contributions can thrive. If you possess culinary expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding guest experience, this position offers a rewarding career pathway at one of the Gulf Coast’s premier baseball venues.
