OVG manages an impressive portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and a comprehensive client roster that spans iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Through its innovative approach and commitment to excellence, Oak View Group continues to shape the future of live entertainment on a global scale.
The Kitchen Lead position at Keesler Federal Park, home to the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers baseball team, offers an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals seeking part-time employment. Keesler Federal Park, formerly known as MGM Park, is a premier sports venue located on the scenic Mississippi Coast in Biloxi. Opened in 2015, it provides an exceptional fan experience with modern amenities including reserved seating, luxury suites, open-air party decks, a spacious luxury club, and a state-of-the-art scoreboard. This venue is not only a hub for baseball but is deeply rooted in the local culture, representing Biloxi's rich seafood heritage through its affiliated team and community offerings.
As the Kitchen Lead, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and beverage services to guests. The role involves preparing and cooking various menu items such as meats, soups, and sauces, following established company recipes and portioning standards. Beyond food preparation, the Kitchen Lead is responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring rigorous adherence to cleanliness, safety, and health standards. You will be a key trainer for kitchen team members, mentoring staff in culinary preparation techniques and food presentation. Additionally, this position requires active involvement in controlling food and labor costs and assisting with inventory management. Excellent attendance and availability to work scheduled events are essential responsibilities.
The Kitchen Lead must also coordinate closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to plan menus and estimate food consumption, ensuring efficient kitchen operations during events. This role demands a high level of organizational skill, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Candidates should be comfortable using standard kitchen equipment and fostering a positive work environment through effective communication with employees, management, and guests.
This part-time position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 and includes benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. The role remains open until August 21, 2026, providing ample opportunity for interested candidates to apply and join a vibrant, diverse team dedicated to delivering excellence in hospitality and entertainment.
