Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, known for its comprehensive platform that spans venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG manages seven world-class owned venues and partners with iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. Their commitment to excellence in live entertainment infrastructure makes them a vital force in shaping the global events landscape.

One of their notable venues is the Crown Complex, located in the heart of Cumberland County, Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Crown Complex is a state-of-the-art, multi-venue facility comprising a 4,500-seat arena, a 9,200-square-foot ballroom, a 10,880-seat coliseum, a 60,000-square-foot exposition center, and a 2,440-seat theatre. It serves as home to the Fayetteville Marksmen hockey team (SPHL) and Fayetteville Fury indoor soccer team (NISL) while hosting a diverse range of sporting events, concerts, family shows, and special productions throughout the year.

The Event Security position at the Crown Complex is a part-time, vital role responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the venue and its guests during events. This role involves a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment by responding promptly to requests for assistance relating to security, medical, fire, and other emergencies. Event Security personnel are expected to perform pre-event and post-event safety inspections and provide general security coverage throughout the complex prior to, during, and after events.

As a member of the security team, the Event Security staff must maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service, exhibiting a courteous demeanor at all times. The position requires carrying out established security procedures diligently, protecting venue property, and managing lost and found items responsibly. In addition, these security officers may be required to provide escorts within the complex when needed.

The hourly rate for this part-time role is $45.00, and benefits include a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, specifically designed for part-time employees. The position remains open until August 14, 2026, indicating an ongoing need for dedicated security personnel to help maintain safety at this premier entertainment venue.
