Job Requirements
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid food handling certification if required by state and federal regulations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards

Job Qualifications
- Previous cook or prep cook experience preferred
- Able to operate standard kitchen equipment including broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, chef knife
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team and guests
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate if required
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Duties
- Provide high-quality fresh food products in a timely manner for guests
- Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements
- Portion, arrange, and garnish food plates for delivery
- Participate as a team player in preparation, service, and delivery
- Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items
- Report any maintenance needed for kitchen equipment
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens
- Observe and test foods for proper cooking and holding
- Clean and store utensils, sweep and mop floors at shift end
- Ensure kitchen meets cleanliness standards before shift end
- Consult with executive chef or supervisors to plan menus
- Demonstrate excellent attendance
- Perform all other duties as assigned
