The Concessions Supervisor role at Missouri State University, located in Springfield, Missouri, is a part-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring seamless concession operations during events. Reporting directly to the Concessions Manager, the supervisor is responsible for overseeing all concession stands, managing staff, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and supporting overall event success. This position requires hands-on supervision and active participation in daily concession activities, including setup, inventory control, cash handling, food safety compliance, and exceptional guest service. Pay for this role is $15.00 per hour, with part-time benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan and matching.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage
  • valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit as per regulations
  • ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

  • proficiency with office software
