Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work variable event-driven schedule including evenings and weekends
- ability to stand and walk extensively
- ability to perform physical activities such as reaching, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- valid ServSafe Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain
- valid Alcohol Service certification or ability to obtain
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- hospitality experience or similar venue experience a plus
- food/alcohol service certification preferred
- ability to communicate professionally and courteously with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- ability to make sound business and operations decisions quickly under pressure
- ability to speak, read, and write in English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- knowledge of concession locations, equipment, and evacuation procedures
- valid ServSafe Food Handlers certification and Alcohol Service certification or ability to obtain
- knowledge of sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, and safety standards
- ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS, cash reconciliation and inventory
- adherence to high standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Assist with receiving and distribution control for F&B in the venue
- maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas
- fulfill event expectations including delivering product to stands during events, post-event clean-up, equipment storage, sanitation and maintenance
- ensure appropriate stocking levels for each stand per event, rotate products FIFO and maintain product integrity
- manage proper transfer process of products between locations with follow-up documentation
- clean and maintain concession and other F&B equipment including portable equipment, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting
- conduct end-of-day walk-through of warehouse and storage areas to ensure cleanliness
