We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate part-time Chef to join the culinary team at the Lone Star Convention Center. Job Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and execute menus for weekly parties and concessions in accordance with customer preferences, dietary restrictions, and budget constraints
  • coordinate with event organizers to understand their needs and ensure that menu offerings meet their expectations
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • order and shop out ingredients and supplies necessary for each event, ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient to meet demand
  • manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks as needed to ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards of excellence
  • assist with menu development, recipe testing, and special event planning as requested
  • provide exceptional customer service and strive to exceed customer expectations with every meal served
