Established in 2015, OVG operates and manages an impressive collection of seven world-class venues and partners with iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions around the world, across four continents. The company is widely recognized for its commitment to delivering exceptional live event experiences and providing best-in-class support to both clients and attendees. Their extensive portfolio highlights their dedication to innovation and excellence in the entertainment and sports industries.
The Seasonal Part-Time Catering Bartender position is based at the Charles Schwab Challenge, held in Fort Worth, Texas, at a prominent event location under Oak View Group's management. This role is designed for individuals seeking seasonal employment from April 24, 2026, through August 24, 2026, with an hourly pay rate of $18.00. As a Catering Bartender, you will be an essential part of the food and beverage team, responsible for delivering top-notch beverage service to guests attending the golf tournament in an outdoor, fast-paced, and vibrant event environment. The position demands a professional and friendly demeanor, as well as a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of alcohol service compliance according to state and local laws, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.
Candidates will participate in a variety of duties including preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, verifying the legal age of guests, managing point-of-sale systems, and maintaining well-stocked, clean, and organized bar stations throughout the tournament. The job requires vigilance in monitoring guests' consumption and addressing any potential service concerns promptly and professionally. Collaboration with concessions, culinary, and event operations teams is crucial to delivering seamless service. Additionally, strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including outdoor event and heat safety measures, is mandatory.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in high-volume, dynamic settings and possess strong customer service and communication skills. Flexibility is also key, as shifts may encompass early mornings, evenings, weekends, and multiple consecutive days. Those with prior experience in bartending, concessions, or special events, along with knowledge of beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service, will find this role to be a great fit. Moreover, having a valid alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain one (such as TABC or ServSafe Alcohol) is required to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
Oak View Group fosters a culture of inclusivity and diversity, believing these values are crucial to innovation and excellence. The company is committed to equal employment opportunities and welcomes candidates from varied backgrounds to apply. This seasonal catering bartender opportunity offers a rewarding experience in a premium live entertainment setting, with the added benefit of joining a global leader in venue management and event operations.
