Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, known for its comprehensive platform that spans venue development, venue management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Established in 2015, OVG has rapidly expanded to serve an impressive portfolio of seven world-class venues along with numerous iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The company's commitment to excellence and innovation places it at the forefront of the live entertainment industry, providing exceptional guest experiences in every project it undertakes.

The seasonal Catering Bartender role is a vital part of the food and beverage team supporting the Charles Schwab Challenge golf tournament held in Fort Worth, Texas. This position focuses on delivering professional, friendly, and efficient beverage service in a dynamic, outdoor, high-volume event environment. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings, enjoy engaging with guests, and are committed to responsible alcohol service practices. This seasonal part-time role runs from April 24, 2026, through August 24, 2026, with an hourly wage of $18.00. The position requires a strong work ethic, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to adhere to strict tournament and alcohol compliance standards.

The Catering Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards while ensuring that all service complies with state and local alcohol laws. Working outdoors in an event setting, this role demands maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station throughout event hours, operating POS systems for cash and credit transactions, and upholding a high level of customer service despite high guest volume. The successful candidate will also coordinate with concessions, culinary, and event operations teams to create seamless and enjoyable guest experiences.

Safety and compliance are paramount in this role, with responsibilities including monitoring guest consumption, enforcing age verification, following health, safety, and sanitation policies, and adhering to dress code and tournament rules. Candidates must be prepared for the physical demands of working outdoors, including heat-related safety protocols. Prior bartending or event service experience is preferred, and alcohol service certification or willingness to obtain it is required.

Joining Oak View Group means becoming part of a diverse, inclusive team that values innovation and excellence while striving to positively disrupt the live entertainment and sports industry. OVG is an equal opportunity employer dedicated to celebrating diversity and providing equal employment opportunities across all protected classes. This seasonal opportunity to work on a prestigious event provides not only competitive pay but an environment where employees can grow and contribute meaningfully to a world-class event.
