Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more of bartending experience
- Knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Ability to de-escalate difficult situations professionally
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more of experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
- Communicate cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
- Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond scope
- Request additional or restock products as needed
- Handle cash accurately and issue bank at bar
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
- Other duties as assigned
