Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more of bartending experience
  • Knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Ability to de-escalate difficult situations professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more of experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
  • Communicate cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond scope
  • Request additional or restock products as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and issue bank at bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
  • Other duties as assigned
