The part-time Bartender position at The Texas Tech Club offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about mixology and customer service in a fast-paced, professional environment. Working as a Bartender for Oak View Group comes with competitive hourly wages ranging from $4.00 to $5.00 per hour, plus tips, emphasizing a rewarding compensation structure for motivated and attentive individuals. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or more of bartending experience
Knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Ability to de-escalate difficult situations professionally

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
Communicate cut-off to guests as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond scope
Request additional or restock products as needed
Handle cash accurately and issue bank at bar
Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with organization of cooler
Other duties as assigned
