This wide reach and expertise underscore their commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment experiences combined with top-notch guest services. The company's headquarters and one of its flagship venues, Polar Park in Worcester, Massachusetts, provide a vibrant and dynamic environment for employees and visitors alike.

The role of Bartender at Worcester Red Sox’s Polar Park is a critical position within Oak View Group’s Food Services & Hospitality division. This is a part-time, regular position with an hourly pay rate of $6.75, plus eligibility to earn tips. The Bartender serves as a front-line staff member responsible for preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. A strong emphasis is placed on professionalism, personality, and adaptability in a constantly evolving live-event environment. The bartender works closely with the team to ensure exceptional service quality, compliance with state and federal alcohol regulations, and adherence to company standards for guest interactions, uniform appearance, and operational procedures.

Key responsibilities include following detailed bar pre-shift notes and menus, responsibly pouring and serving drinks, verifying guests’ identification to ensure legal compliance, and handling challenging situations such as intoxicated or unruly guests with appropriate judgment and communication. Attention to detail is essential, as bartenders also manage cash handling, maintain the cleanliness and safety of the bar area, restock supplies, and may assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and coworkers, strong organizational ability to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment, and readiness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.

Working as a Bartender at OVG allows employees to join a vibrant team in one of the most exciting live entertainment settings, where diversity, inclusivity, and innovation are embraced. The company is committed to creating an environment that celebrates diverse backgrounds and perspectives, enhancing the overall guest experience and fostering employee success. Part-time employees benefit from a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions, among other perks.
