The Bartender position at Oak View Group's National Constitution Center location in Philadelphia, PA, is a part-time role offering an hourly rate between $22.00 and $24.00, plus eligibility for tips. Additionally, the bartender will be responsible for maintaining an immaculate and sanitary workstation, handling cash accurately, and managing bar inventory, including set-up and breakdown of bar equipment. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months or more bartending experience
- knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
- ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- accurate cash handling ability
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- must be 21 years or older

Job Duties
- demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits available and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
- check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations
- communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
- request additional product or restock product as required
- handle cash accurately and be responsible for issued bank at the bar
- maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization
