The position pays $9.50 per hour with eligibility for tips, which allows employees to benefit directly from their exceptional service skills. The role demands working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and attending scheduled events as business needs dictate, making flexibility in work hours critical.\n\nAs a Bartender, you will be responsible for offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages adhering strictly to company and legal standards. Providing excellent guest service with professionalism and a personable approach to guest interaction is a key element of success in this role. The Bartender is expected to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of various beers, wines, and spirits and to use this expertise to suggestively upsell products that enhance the guest experience. Safety and compliance are paramount, with the bartender required to check guest IDs for age verification and to follow state and federal regulations concerning alcohol service. This includes responsibly managing drink sizes and intervening in intoxicated guest situations to maintain a safe and welcoming environment.\n\nIn addition to beverage service, bartenders are tasked with maintaining clean and sanitary workstations, managing bar inventory including the issued bank, restocking as necessary, and ensuring all bar equipment is well maintained. The role also entails adhering to uniform standards, working cohesively with a team, and embodying the company's standards for excellence in customer service and operational efficiency. Job Requirements
- Six months or more experience bartending
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Bartending school is preferred
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours

Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
- Learn or have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
- Check guest's ID in accordance with state and federal regulations to verify age requirements
- Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
- Listen and respond to any customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as required
- Request additional products or restock as needed
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times
- Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Perform other duties including setting up and breaking down bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization
- Responsible for the issued bank at the bar
