Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be 21 years or older to serve alcohol
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service and co-worker interaction
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and regulations
- Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine, and spirit products
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
- Check guest IDs to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
- Communicate alcohol cut-offs to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- Contact management or security if guests become confrontational
- Request additional or restock product as needed
- Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
- Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment as required
