The Bartender role at Acrisure Arena is an exciting part-time opportunity that offers an hourly wage of $20.00 plus tips. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of guest service synonymous with Oak View Group. The bartender is responsible for the service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Bartending school preferred
  • Accurate cash handling skills required
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellence in guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
  • Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties, and spirits to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards for serving size
  • Check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations or contact management/security if necessary
  • Request additional or restock products as needed
  • Maintain the issued bank at the bar
  • Keep a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is well maintained
  • Set up and break down bar equipment as required
  • Assist with organizing the cooler
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
