Known for driving innovation and excellence in the sports and entertainment industry, OVG is committed to creating diverse, inclusive environments that mirror and celebrate the varied communities they serve. They emphasize a culture of respect, excellence, and inclusiveness, ensuring employees from all backgrounds can thrive.
The position available is for a part-time Bartender based at the Acrisure Arena location in Palm Desert, California. This role is integral to the venue's food and beverage management team, focusing on delivering exceptional guest service. The Bartender will be responsible for serving all beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, under the highest standards of hospitality while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements related to alcohol service. As a Bartender at OVG’s Acrisure Arena, you will engage directly with guests, ensuring their beverage needs are met efficiently and courteously. You will follow bar pre-shift notes and menus, maintaining thorough knowledge of available beer, wine, and spirits to make suitable recommendations and upsell products when appropriate. Responsibility extends to checking IDs to verify age compliance and responsibly managing alcohol service, including detecting and addressing intoxicated guest situations tactfully and effectively.
The Bartender will also be responsible for prioritizing cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, handling cash accurately, managing the issued bank, restocking supplies, and assisting with bar setup and breakdown during events. This position requires availability to work nights, weekends, and long hours to meet event schedules and business needs. The role offers an hourly wage of $20.00, plus eligibility for tips, making it a financially rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest experience.
Oak View Group provides benefits for part-time employees, including a 401(k) savings plan with company matching, supporting employee financial wellness.
