Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years of box office, customer service or Tessitura experience
  • Superior interpersonal skills and effective communication ability
  • Ability to work calmly under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and Google suite
  • Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as required

Job Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education diploma or certificate or major course work related to theater arts or similar field preferred
  • Minimum two years of box office, customer service or Tessitura experience required
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse staff and clientele
  • Proven ability to work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Docs, Forms and Apps
  • Experience in collaborative work environments

Job Duties

  • Function as the front- and back-line coordinator assisting Ticket Services Associate staff with issues and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate daily and pre-performance sales station setup including will-call and ticket printing
  • Post, maintain, add or release ticket inventory and seat holds for vendors and staff
  • Interface with managers to ensure data and reporting consistency and produce group sales invoicing
  • Assist patrons with purchasing tickets and multi-buy packages
  • Manage Tessitura ticketing system to maintain data integrity through updates and corrections
  • Coordinate marketing mailing campaigns
  • Maintain supplies and order materials as needed
  • Conduct research on customer service issues and participate in department initiatives
  • Answer, screen and direct calls on multi-line phone system
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, emailing and mailing
  • Work as a team with marketing and event staff on performances and special events
  • Assist in implementation of patron surveys and marketing initiatives
  • Facilitate ticket services staff with front-line responsibilities
  • Serve as event MOD in rotation providing direction and resolving issues
  • Assist General Manager with show settlements, check requests and administrative tasks
