Sacramento Republic FC is a professional soccer club based in Sacramento, California, competing in the USL Championship. As part of the Ticketing Department, the full-time Ticket Operations Coordinator role plays a pivotal role in supporting the ongoing execution of ticket operations for Sacramento Republic FC. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities including acting as the primary box office resolution specialist during game days, managing ticket systems, and assisting various operational functions within the Ticket Sales & Service department. The role focuses on coordinating event builds, managing ticket inventory, facilitating internal communications across departments, and supervising box office and ticket scanning activities at all ticketed events.

The ideal candidate for this position is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic sports environment. With a passion for delivering superior customer service, the Ticket Operations Coordinator works closely with fans, season ticket holders, club partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth ticketing processes and an exceptional match day experience.

In addition to providing direct customer support, the coordinator supports the club's ticketing strategy by processing various ticket orders, facilitating payment plans, and managing account compliance in collaboration with the Finance department. The coordinator also plays a critical role in maintaining CRM data integrity, documenting contracts and ticket account information, and developing promotional campaigns and pricing within the club's ticketing platform (Unify).

Furthermore, this role requires strong interpersonal skills for relationship building with SeatGeek client support and internal collaboration with departments such as Ticket Service and Finance. The coordinator assists with the organization of club events beyond match days, including season ticket member functions and third-party events, creating and refining online sales processes for ticket products. Working closely under Ticket Operations leadership, the Ticket Operations Coordinator contributes to the overall department goals and supports additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Previous ticketing background

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sports management, marketing or related field
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Ticketing background
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with SeatGeek/Unify and other related ticketing platforms
  • Knowledge of HubSpot CRM software
  • Bilingual Spanish skills (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong service-oriented mentality and exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Assist with the order processing efforts associated with orders for season, team, employee, partner, community, group, and single game ticket sales
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all ticket inquiries
  • Provide game-day support in the area of ticket resolution and customer service
  • Game-day responsibilities include Box Office and Ticket Scanning supervision, staff scheduling, and set-up/reconciliation
  • Act as a higher point of contact for all elevated customer service occurrences on match day
  • Build, maintain and develop a positive working relationship with all SeatGeek Client Support Staff
  • Facilitate payment plans, and work closely with the Ticket Services and Finance departments to ensure account compliance
  • Assist in CRM management for all ticket department needs including contract documentation, terms and conditions, and ticket account information
  • Assist with the building of events, plans, price types, promo codes, group links, and other Unify programming needs
  • Coordinate with internal departments within the organization on all Ticket Operations needs during the season
  • Work heavily with Ticket Service Department with season ticket holder account requests
  • Assist in the execution of Club events including but not limited to games, Season Ticket Member functions, third party events
  • Assist in the creation of all online sales processes including but not limited to single game, group, and season ticket sales
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Manager of Ticket Operations or other Ticketing Leadership
