Job Description
Thursday is a global in-real-life (IRL) dating movement revolutionizing the way people meet by bringing the excitement of dating offline through vibrant social events. Established in over 150 cities worldwide, Thursday has earned recognition from prestigious media outlets such as Forbes, the BBC, and Australia's number one morning show. The company is passionate about making dating fun and authentic by organizing unique experiences that help singles connect face-to-face, away from screens and digital distractions.
Operating as a dynamic and fast-growing event and lifestyle brand, Thursday specializes in creating memorable gatherings like bar takeovers, rooftop mingles, wellness collaborations, and fitness events—all designed to foster real-world connections. Their mission is to transform the dating scene by blending social energy, community building, and entertainment to facilitate genuine interpersonal relationships.
The role of a Thursday Events Producer is a freelance, commission-based position located in Louisville, Kentucky. This role offers an exciting opportunity for extroverted, organized, and high-energy individuals to become the local Face of Thursday in their city. Hosts typically earn between $3,000 and $4,000 USD per month, with top performers earning upwards of $10,000 USD, making it not only a fun but financially rewarding endeavor.
As an Events Producer, you will be responsible for sourcing and booking unique venues where Thursday events will take place, listing and promoting these events online, and actively managing the local Instagram presence to create buzz and excitement within the community. You will be the social ambassador of Thursday locally, driving attendance and engagement through charismatic event hosting.
Weekly events are the heart of this position, and you'll be expected to create an inviting atmosphere that gets singles interacting, enjoying themselves, and forming meaningful connections. This role requires creativity, active networking, social media savvy, and a strong ability to engage diverse groups of people. With comprehensive onboarding, ongoing support, and access to design assets, you will be well-equipped to succeed and grow with the brand.
Beyond the regular events, being a part of Thursday offers you the unique chance to attend exclusive singles trips worldwide, including destinations such as Bali, ski resorts, and the renowned Yacht Week in Croatia, by earning Host-Level Wristbands. High-performing hosts may further transition into full-time roles within the company, making it a career-building opportunity as well as a vibrant community experience.
If you thrive in social environments, love bringing people together, and are eager to be a pivotal part of an exciting global movement, the Thursday Events Producer role in Louisville awaits your application. Join Thursday to help reshape the future of dating – offline, real, and unforgettable.
