Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- previous experience as a shift lead or closer
- ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
- ability to stand and work for long periods
- ability to work at least 1 weekend shift
- ability to work flexible schedule and cover shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 21 years of age
- previous experience as a shift lead or closer
- excellent verbal communication skills
- ability to obtain RAMP certification within 15 days of hire
- appreciation for wine
- training provided for wine knowledge
Job Duties
- develop and maintain an understanding of all Nissley wines
- ensure all guests are greeted immediately upon entering the tasting room
- conduct wine tastings and provide guidance based on customer feedback
- communicate with all guests in a knowledgeable and professional manner
- share information about Nissley Vineyards
- promote wines and events to establish long-term customer relationships
- promote the wine club
- adhere to all R.A.M.P. policies, PLCB regulations and in-house policies and procedures
- understand and follow all shift opening and closing procedures, including cash handling
- accurately operate POS system to transact sales and maintain inventory
- process returns and exchanges as needed
- assist with deliveries and inventory management
- communicate with Regional Manager about operations
- cover as MOD as needed
- ensure cleanliness and aesthetics of the tasting room and related areas
- maintain physical inventory of merchandise and restock wine as needed
