Job Description

THE TENNESSEAN Personal Luxury Hotel & Residences is an elegant and contemporary luxury hotel located in downtown Knoxville, Tennessee. Positioned alongside the city’s largest public greenspace, World’s Fair Park, THE TENNESSEAN offers stunning views of both the Smoky Mountains and the park itself. This distinguished hotel features 82 meticulously appointed rooms and suites, all designed with modern style and comfort in mind. Guests have access to a variety of upscale amenities including a sophisticated lobby space, The Drawing Room for fine spirits, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Each suite is designed to engage all five senses, from the invigorating aroma of Illy coffee from in-room coffee makers to the high-quality luxury linens and pillow-top mattresses that promise a restful experience. Additional conveniences include Bluetooth-enabled Cuby radios that allow guests to enjoy their favorite music or local radio stations. The private powder rooms, featuring premium local soaps and bath amenities, underscore the hotel’s commitment to personal luxury. With attentive in-room dining options, THE TENNESSEAN redefines a guest’s stay by ensuring every detail is curated for comfort and elegance.

Join our team as a Night Time House Attendant, a vital role that ensures the hotel’s public spaces remain spotless and inviting while supporting the overall guest experience. This position offers the unique opportunity to become the behind-the-scenes hero who maintains high cleanliness standards, assists guests with a welcoming smile, and supports the housekeeping team during the night shift. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and physically capable, ready to handle various tasks that keep the hotel running smoothly after hours. Your responsibilities will range from maintaining sparkling cleanliness in all public areas to assisting with event setup and safeguarding the property’s security. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment and who take pride in contributing to a welcoming, luxurious atmosphere for every guest.

As a Night Time House Attendant at THE TENNESSEAN, you will shine in the role of a cleanliness specialist, ensuring every corner of the hotel—from the lobby carpets to the furniture and restrooms—is immaculate. You'll be the first responder to guest requests during the night, delivering prompt and friendly service that reflects the hotel’s high hospitality standards. Additionally, your support in setting up meeting rooms and events will ensure seamless and memorable experiences. Safety and security will also be key parts of your role, as you help manage lost-and-found items responsibly and uphold safe work habits that prevent injuries. This role not only requires physical endurance but also a genuine desire to enhance the lives of guests through excellent service and a positive attitude.

This full-time position offers an excellent benefits package after an initial waiting period, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability income protection, life insurance, paid time off, employee assistance programs, and a 401k retirement plan. The hotel also offers the unique benefit of daily pay, making it an attractive opportunity for those seeking both job stability and flexible financial solutions. Embracing the energy of Knoxville’s vibrant downtown and the luxury atmosphere of THE TENNESSEAN, this role is your gateway to a rewarding career in hospitality where your efforts make a real difference every day.
