Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a bar or food service environment preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to maintain grooming and dress code standards
  • Must be able to work holiday schedules excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas
  • No late night shifts available

Job Duties

  • Provide knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, efficient, energetic and thoughtful service at all times
  • Support bar team with ongoing bar and back bar maintenance
  • Respond appropriately to any guest requests or issues by communicating effectively with the proper bartender or management
  • Assist in the cleaning and polishing of all tableware
  • Receive instructions from multiple sources and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Support team members in the completion of their duties to ensure the satisfaction of all guests before, during, and after service
  • Have the ability to recite basic menu knowledge and run food to tables if needed
  • Stock, organize and prepare bar related and service-related items
  • Participate in bar prep work as directed by the bar manager and bartenders
  • Be knowledgeable of the restaurant and its history
  • Restock stations continually with ice, beer, spirits, and wine
  • Run dishwasher and polish glassware
  • Communicate respectfully with coworkers at all levels
  • Adhere to grooming and dress code standards
  • Demonstrate communication and multi-tasking abilities
  • Exhibit stamina, energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Show teamwork and attention to detail
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Perform other restaurant duties as assigned
