Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum 6 months of server experience preferred
- RAMP certification preferred
- Availability during weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to stand for 8 or more hours
- Ability to lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 25 pounds
- Basic math and point-of-sale system proficiency
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism
- Detail-oriented and able to make proper decisions
- Effective listening and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 6 months experience as a server in a comparable restaurant preferred
- RAMP certification preferred
- Availability during peak operating times including weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Basic knowledge of food presentation, preparation, and handling
- Basic math skills for handling money and transactions
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure
- Organized, detail-oriented with good decision-making skills
- Effective listening and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests
- Welcome and greet guests making all guests feel comfortable and letting them know you're there to take care of them
- Inform guests of specials and menu options
- Make recommendations guests will enjoy based on menu knowledge
- Up sell food and beverage items using suggestive selling techniques
- Take food and beverage orders and enter into point-of-sale system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests
- Perform side work and maintain clean service areas
- Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
- Prepare final bill, process payments accurately
- Assist fellow servers and bus persons as needed
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Adhere to all Bear Creek and Southern Management policies and procedures
