The Wardrobe Attendant position plays an essential role within the Wardrobe Department at The D Casino & Hotel. This hourly role involves assisting the Wardrobe Assistant Manager with daily tasks centered around the care, distribution, and management of uniforms and wardrobe items for team members. The Wardrobe Attendant is responsible for facilitating the exchange and logging of garments, tracking inventory, and supporting laundry-related activities while ensuring the wardrobe area remains organized, clean, and secure. This role demands a keen attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records related to fitting, alterations, repairs, and replacements. The Wardrobe Attendant helps sustain efficient wardrobe operations, promoting a professional appearance among staff which is crucial to upholding the establishment's brand image and service standards.

In addition, the Wardrobe Attendant is expected to practice and support the company’s service standards consistently, communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, and promptly escalate issues or provide relevant updates to management for resolution. This role also includes maintaining proper inventory levels based on staff requirements and handling uniform returns upon employee termination. Candidates who demonstrate reliability, great interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays will thrive in this position. A strong command of English and a collaborative attitude towards team members are foundational for success. Comfortable working in varying temperatures and environments common to wardrobe storage rooms will also be necessary.

This position requires the ability to balance operational duties with customer service, ensuring uniform management is performed seamlessly to support daily operations. Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and speak English
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
  • GED
  • Normal corrective vision and ability to distinguish colors, letters, numbers and symbols
  • Ability to work in environments that may be hot, cold or noisy

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
  • Understand and comply with all company, departmental and Gaming Control Board rules, policies and procedures
  • Ability to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to communicate to staff at all levels in English

Job Duties

  • Practice and support company service standards at all times
  • Complete and maintain forms on all issued or exchanged wardrobe including fitting, alteration, date in service, repair or replacement status and reason for exchange
  • Make markings or fittings as requested
  • Prepare alterations for pick up from third party
  • Conduct and maintain inventory to ensure appropriate wardrobe size, style and amount
  • Organize, maintain and secure wardrobe items in designated storage areas
  • Initiate requests to replenish inventory based on staffing, wear, or other factors
  • Account for all uniform items upon termination, notifying supervisor of any missing items
