Job Requirements
- Ged or equivalent
- at least 1 year experience in a concierge, sales or similar position
- normal, corrective vision range with ability to see color and distinguish letters, numbers and symbols
- manual dexterity to operate job related equipment
- ability to work in noisy environments that may contain secondhand smoke
- capability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping
- ability to maintain constant contact with fellow team members and guests
- able to perform tasks in both sitting and non-sitting positions
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management in both written and verbal form
- excellent customer service and people skills
- proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- must be detail oriented
Job Duties
- Practice and promote company service standards at all times
- possess in-depth knowledge of local businesses, entertainment venues, and travel options
- assist guests by making suggestions for entertainment, dining, and other engagements
- manage first and continuing impressions of guests
- establish a high level of guest satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous service and building rapport
- answer phone calls and emails from guests timely and respectfully
- greet guests warmly
- receive and redirect mail, phone calls, packages
- ensure the concierge area is clean and tidy at all times
- act as liaison between guests and various departments as necessary
