The Brandywine Radnor Hotel is a distinguished full-service hospitality establishment situated in the heart of Philadelphia's prestigious Main Line. Known for its award-winning service and warm, inviting atmosphere, the hotel offers 121 guest rooms including seven luxury suites. With comprehensive on-site dining options and extensive event spaces designed for weddings, meetings, and private gatherings, the Brandywine Radnor Hotel caters to a diverse clientele that includes business travelers, social groups, and members of the local community. This opportunity is for the position of Server at the Brandywine Radnor Hotel. Servers play a crucial role as the dining room's Most Valuable Player (MVP), responsible for creating outstanding dining experiences that leave a lasting impression on guests. The Server is tasked with juggling orders efficiently while maintaining a positive and engaging demeanor, expertly guiding guests through the menu, and ensuring every visit is memorable. This role involves taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages promptly, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the dining area. The Server adheres strictly to the hotel's service protocols and safety guidelines, ensuring a seamless and safe dining experience. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment that values teamwork, energy, and top-notch service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must obtain and maintain required certifications such as Alcohol Awareness and Food Handler's Card as per state regulations

Job Duties

  • Know the menu inside and out including ingredients, dietary needs, daily specials, and alcohol service guidelines to guide guests professionally
  • Deliver food and drinks quickly and flawlessly with attention to detail
  • Manage multiple tables efficiently while keeping service smooth, spaces clean, and maintaining composure under pressure
  • Handle transactions with precision, close checks confidently, and follow all company and security protocols
  • Maintain service area cleanliness adhering to hygiene regulations and certification standards
  • Stay energized and maintain physical stamina throughout the shift by lifting, bending, and moving continuously
