Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years experience as bartender in luxury hotel or similar setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid bartending certification if required by local regulations
  • Ability to work full time with flexible hours including holidays and weekends
  • Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes and mixology
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle physically demanding tasks
  • Skilled in operating POS and handling cash transactions
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining hygiene and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Support companys philosophy and culture through use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure guest satisfaction and achieve mission statement
  • Support companys philosophy and culture through use of Departmental Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure guest satisfaction and achieve mission statement
  • Support companys philosophy and culture through Guiding Principles and D.E.L.I.G.H.T ensuring guest satisfaction and achievement of mission statement
  • Follow all Forbes and LQE Standards of service at all times
  • Follow TIPS standards for service of alcoholic beverages
  • Retrieve completed food and beverage orders from kitchen or bar confirm accuracy and deliver to guests with appropriate condiments abiding by all liquor regulations
  • Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials or bar promotions
  • Record the details of orders from guests repeating as necessary to check for accuracy
  • Prepare drinks in accordance with guest order and recipes
  • Mix and serve drinks serve food clean bar set up and break down bar
  • Batch cocktails prepare garnishes syrups prepare serve replenish bar snacks
  • Open bottles as necessary restock ice at the bar throughout shift
  • Submit daily requisitions at end of each shift
  • Organize incoming stock based on FIFO method
  • Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction
  • Present check to guest and process payment using POS system
  • Embody bar concept and experience offered to guests
  • Handle process and settle all cash payments and transactions
  • Ensure all silver and glasses are wiped and spotless
  • Enter all sales in POS without errors double check before sending print new check after additional orders
  • Ensure all products served are accounted for on final bill
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar area and well stocked with supplies and beverages including cleaning counters floors shelves refrigerators removing trash checking coolers and shelves
  • Verify guest satisfaction during each course or beverage served
  • Anticipate guest needs to exceed expectations
  • Wish each guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming
  • Deliver all checks and reports to appropriate place at shift end
  • Perform all opening and closing duties
  • Work in team effort with bar bartenders and servers ensuring legendary quality experience for guests
