Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or 5+ years of experience
- 2-3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- good communication skills
- ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- evidence of previous work in a successful team environment
- knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements
- electro-mechanical aptitude
- display aptitude for controlling an emergency situation and coordinating problem solving actions
- able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules
- demonstrate ability to train junior technicians
- ability to lift 60 lbs
- ability to stand/walk up to 11 hours per day
- ability to operate hydraulic foot pump (55 gallon drums - drums could be up to 500 lbs)
- job requires constant bending to successfully complete shift tasks (validating information, checking systems, etc.)
- ability to wear a respirator as part of required PPE for certain job tasks

Job Duties
- Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment
- perform intermediate gas/chemical troubleshooting and repair of delivery equipment
- perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs
- monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site
- perform bulk gas and chemical trailer transfers
- provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including quality incident reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements
- assist in the identification and resolution of gas/chemical-related manufacturing problems
- active member of the Emergency Response Team
- satisfactorily complete TGCM Tech 6 local OJT and qualification requirements
- issue hazardous work permits
- restart all high purity gas and/or chemical delivery equipment
- participate in customer and Air Liquide programs including safety, training, operations, and preventive maintenance
- support training of TGCM contractors and Tech 5 employees
- assist in the development and maintenance of applicable site-specific work instructions
- comply with all applicable HS&E standards including PPE, forklift operations, lock out/tag out program, confined space entry
- complete assigned tasks per existing procedures
- perform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures
- accountable for the safety of all persons and general public surrounding facilities
