Job Requirements

  • Valid commercial pilot license (CPL)
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Experience operating large UAVs or VTOL aircraft over 55 pounds
  • Strong computer and software tool proficiency
  • Ability to tow trailers and conduct basic automotive maintenance

  • Hands-on experience operating large UAVs or VTOL aircraft over 55 pounds
  • Strong proficiency with computers, software tools, and advanced hardware systems
  • Comfortable with towing trailers and performing basic automotive maintenance and upkeep

Job Duties

  • Serve as pilot in command for both BVLOS and VLOS test flights, including mission planning, safety reviews, pre- and post-flight inspections, and flight briefings
  • Support a variety of test operations, including ground testing, aircraft maintenance, and hands-on involvement in airframe and subsystem assembly
  • Contribute to the development of flight operations materials such as concepts of operations, training manuals, and FAA documentation
  • Provide feedback to engineering teams by testing user interfaces and running simulations of real-world scenarios and failure modes
  • Maintain simulator proficiency and help manage the operational readiness of the test site facility
