Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of direct B2B sales experience, preferably selling water quality, flow, discharge, telemetry, or data management solutions
  • proven ability to work with municipal, state, federal, or consulting agencies involved in flood, stormwater, or environmental monitoring
  • ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • bachelor's degree in a management or science-related field such as environmental science, engineering, hydrology or meteorology, or equivalent experience
  • ability to work remotely within driving distance of a major airport in Texas, Oklahoma, or New Mexico

  • proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce.com

Job Duties

  • participating in sales activities including customer site visits, phone contacts, trade shows, seminars, product demonstrations, and channel management
  • promoting and selling OTT HydroMet's product lines to existing and new customers
  • developing and executing a business plan to manage your territory effectively, engaging stakeholders and internal resources to best serve customer needs
  • managing and reporting on sales opportunities, competitive activity, and the voice of the customer using Salesforce.com
  • maintaining a healthy sales funnel, meeting or exceeding assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin
  • conducting regular customer opportunity reviews and presenting activity plans to leadership
