Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with good motor vehicle record
  • Preferred experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and cold call
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Competitive spirit and goal-oriented mindset
  • Problem-solving, organization and negotiation skills
  • Team-oriented mentality
  • Tech-savviness with Microsoft Office and CRM tools preferred
  • Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Duties

  • Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
  • Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
  • Drive sales by selling to customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to individual customers
  • Manage territory and time efficiently
  • Collaborate with Specialists, marketing, supply chain, and customer service teams
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers through market intelligence and attending trade shows
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule and troubleshoot order issues
  • Stay informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors
  • Conduct regular site visits and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Drive personal motor vehicle for territory visits
