With a strong reputation and extensive product range, US Foods serves a diverse customer base in the foodservice industry, ranging from restaurants to hospitality businesses.
The Territory Manager role at US Foods is an exciting opportunity for professionals looking to elevate their careers in sales and customer relationship management within the foodservice sector. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about building strong customer relationships, driving sales growth, and contributing to business success. The role involves a dynamic mix of account management and new business development, requiring a proactive and strategic approach to sales. Territory Managers at US Foods work closely with various internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and customer service, to ensure seamless product delivery and maximize customer satisfaction.
As a Territory Manager, you will be at the forefront of customer engagement, acting as the customer champion. You will educate clients on ordering platforms, provide menu consultations, recommend products, and offer pricing strategies tailored to help customers thrive. Your success will be measured by your ability to increase sales through impactful presentations, effective territory management, and strong client partnerships. This role is commission and incentive-driven, rewarding performance and offering the opportunity for significant earnings growth.
US Foods supports its Territory Managers with a comprehensive training program, including ongoing coaching, sales tools, and mentoring to ensure long-term success. This role does not have direct reports but requires independence and the ability to work outdoors regularly, managing multiple responsibilities in a variable environment. A valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record are essential since the role involves frequent travel within your assigned territory, visiting customers, and following up to ensure satisfaction.
Working at US Foods means joining a team-focused culture that values collaboration, innovation, and professional development. The company offers a competitive salary, a market-leading performance-based incentive program, and a supportive team-based selling environment. In addition to robust benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance starting from day one, 401K plan options, and paid time off, employees also enjoy an employee stock purchase plan, life insurance options, mileage reimbursement, and ample opportunities for career growth in a thriving industry. If you have the drive, skills, and enthusiasm to make an impact, a career as a Territory Manager at US Foods offers an outstanding platform to grow and succeed.
