Job Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- valid driver’s license required and motor vehicle record must be in good standing
- foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred
- excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
- ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
- exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- a competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals
- problem solving ability, organization and negotiation skills
- team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- tech-savviness, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
- ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Duties
- own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
- educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies to help customers succeed
- sell to customers, increase case growth, and acquire new business
- deliver impactful sales presentations and tailor sales approach to individual customers
- work collaboratively with specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening
- work closely with marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery
- develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases and attending trade shows
- manage deliveries to the routing schedule
- troubleshoot delivery problems
- know the market conditions, product innovations, and competitors products, prices, and sales
- drive personal vehicle to conduct regular check ins, site visits and follow ups
