As a Territory Manager at US Foods, you will be a pivotal player in shaping and nurturing customer relationships while driving business growth. Job Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • valid driver’s license required and motor vehicle record must be in good standing
  • foodservice industry, culinary, restaurant management or hospitality experience preferred
  • excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • a competitive spirit with a drive to exceed goals
  • problem solving ability, organization and negotiation skills
  • team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • tech-savviness, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
  • ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 75 lbs

Job Duties

  • own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
  • educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies to help customers succeed
  • sell to customers, increase case growth, and acquire new business
  • deliver impactful sales presentations and tailor sales approach to individual customers
  • work collaboratively with specialists to assist with top penetration opportunities and new accounts opening
  • work closely with marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery
  • develop new business by identifying prospective customers using market intelligence databases and attending trade shows
  • manage deliveries to the routing schedule
  • troubleshoot delivery problems
  • know the market conditions, product innovations, and competitors products, prices, and sales
  • drive personal vehicle to conduct regular check ins, site visits and follow ups
