With over 100 years of expertise, Ecolab delivers comprehensive and customized solutions to more than three million customer locations worldwide. The company serves critical industries including foodservice, healthcare, hospitality, and industrial markets across more than 170 countries. By leveraging its innovative technologies and deep industry knowledge, Ecolab helps customers achieve operational efficiency, maintain safe and clean environments, and meet sustainability goals that positively impact public health and the environment. Ecolab's commitment to a talent-first philosophy and diversity fosters an inclusive work culture dedicated to growth and excellence.
Within this expansive organization, the Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) team is recognized globally for its specialized cleaning, sanitation, and food safety programs designed exclusively for the fast-paced quick service and fast-casual restaurant industry. This team’s expertise enables customers to operate safer, cleaner, and more efficient sites, ensuring both food safety and brand integrity for some of the largest limited-service restaurant chains in the world. The QSR team combines professional service, dedicated sales and service associates, and cutting-edge programs to deliver outstanding value and operational success for the sector.
Ecolab is currently seeking a Territory Representative to join its Quick Service Restaurant team in the Merced, California market. This field-based, customer-facing role plays a vital part in delivering Ecolab's best-in-class cleaning and sanitation programs tailored to the unique needs of QSR customers. As a Territory Representative, you will be responsible for managing a designated territory covering Merced, Modesto, Stockton, and surrounding areas. Your role will involve installing, maintaining, and servicing equipment such as ware wash machines, water filtration systems, and sinks, as well as conducting site surveys, food safety audits, and providing hands-on training.
You will act as a trusted advisor and advocate for food safety by identifying and mitigating risks that could lead to foodborne illnesses. Another key aspect of your role will be to facilitate sales growth through the introduction of new products and service innovations, all while maintaining strong, positive relationships with customers to understand and meet their evolving needs. This position requires an independent work ethic with the ability to plan and manage your schedule, including some overnight travel and weekend coverage.
Ecolab supports its employees with a robust paid training program involving job shadowing, e-learning modules, and structured field and classroom activities, setting you up for success in this dynamic role. The company also provides a company-paid vehicle for business and personal use where applicable and emphasizes a culture of safety with comprehensive safety training and personal protective equipment.
In terms of compensation, this position offers a competitive total compensation range of $64,600 to $96,800 annually, inclusive of base pay and performance-based incentives. Ecolab also provides extensive benefits starting from day one, including medical, dental, vision coverage, a matching 401(k), company-paid pension, stock purchase plans, paid parental leave, and select childcare discounts, all designed to support your health, financial security, and work-life balance.
Joining Ecolab means becoming part of an organization that values diverse perspectives, fosters innovation, and is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the community and environment. This role provides an exceptional opportunity to build a rewarding career while contributing directly to public health and the success of major quick service restaurant brands.
