The role of Commercial Laundry Expert (Territory Manager) for the California market is a vital position within Ecolab’s Textile Care team. This is a full-time role based in Los Angeles, California, covering the territory of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Diego counties. The position seeks a candidate who will serve as the face of Ecolab for a diverse range of commercial laundry customers, including independent laundry operations and corporate accounts within the commercial uniform, retail, food and beverage, hospitality, and tourism industries. The Territory Manager acts as a trusted consultant, providing expert advice and solutions that boost linen quality and operating efficiencies while supporting customers’ sustainability initiatives.
This role involves developing strategic work plans to effectively manage sales and service consultations with both new and existing customers. The individual will partner closely with plant managers and key personnel to understand their operations and laundry challenges, then deliver compelling sales presentations of Ecolab’s laundry products, chemicals, processes, and programs designed to enhance operational performance. Cultivating long-term customer relationships is a priority, with a focus on increasing sales volume and building trust.
The position also offers hands-on product and solution training, enabling the Territory Manager to leverage technical skills to troubleshoot laundry machines and dispensing systems effectively. This combination of consultative selling and technical problem solving is essential for success.
Ecolab provides a comprehensive compensation package ranging from $84,300 to $126,400 annually, including base pay and target incentives based on performance. Additionally, the company offers a paid training program with access to subject-matter experts, a flexible and independent work environment allowing self-scheduling, and a non-decales company vehicle for personal and business use. Candidates for this position must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs and be willing to travel regularly with up to 30% overnight travel.
