Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while visiting customers
- Must have a competitive spirit and a drive to achieve performance goals
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to collaborate with different teams
- Physical ability to lift or carry heavy items up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Technological proficiency with sales and CRM tools
- Prior experience in sales and foodservice industry preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of sales experience preferred
- Experience in foodservice, culinary, restaurant management, or hospitality preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong presentation abilities
- Ability to build relationships and cold call for new business development
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Competitive drive to exceed goals
- Problem solving, organization and negotiation skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus

Job Duties
- Own and nurture the customer relationship in a team based selling model
- Educate customers on ordering platforms and provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies
- Increase sales by acquiring new business and growing existing accounts
- Deliver impactful sales presentations tailored to individual customers
- Collaborate with specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service for seamless delivery
- Develop new business through market intelligence, networking, and attending trade shows
- Manage delivery issues and ensure adherence to delivery schedules
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activities
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups within assigned territory
