This position is for a seasonal part-time Terrain Park Attendant at Hoedown Hill. The Terrain Park Attendant plays a critical role in the daily operations of Hoedown Hill's three terrain parks and the surrounding recreational areas, ensuring all activities are conducted in compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols. This is a guest-facing role with a primary focus on delivering exceptional service and maintaining a secure environment for both guests and team members. The attendant is responsible for tasks ranging from the setup and teardown of park features to providing assistance, information, and directions to visitors throughout their experience. The job requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork, as well as the ability to work outdoors in challenging weather conditions. With an expected pay range of $16 to $18 per hour, this part-time role involves working primarily on weekends and holidays, offering flexibility and the chance to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to enhancing the winter sports experience at Hoedown Hill. Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic troubleshooting skills to identify problems and safety issues and ability to execute resolutions
  • Ability to work outdoors in cold, snow, wind, and rain conditions
  • Physical stamina to lift 25+ pounds and perform strenuous activities
  • Ability to walk or hike on uneven, challenging terrain with equipment
  • Commitment to punctuality and attendance

Job Duties

  • Commitment to providing a safe experience for guests and team members by adhering to all Hoedown Hill Standard Operating Procedures and safety policies

  • Learn and perform job tasks in all activities on Hoedown Hill
  • Express a friendly, congenial, and helpful attitude while providing guests and employees with assistance, information, and directions
  • Provide exceptional guest experience by operating activities and helping guests navigate safely

  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests throughout the day
  • Assist with special events and large groups
  • Comply with all departmental Hoedown Hill Terrain Park Standard Operating Procedures
  • Daily setup and teardown of terrain parks including signage, fencing, padding, safety inspections, and testing
  • Install and maintain park signage, closures, trail markings, fencing, and banner tape
  • Monitor terrain features by visual inspection and testing according to SOPs
  • Maintain ongoing monitoring and maintenance of terrain features and equipment throughout the operational day
  • Assist with special events including the erection and maintenance of features and equipment
  • Participate in user education and training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
