We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is ideal for cooks who thrive on precision, speed, and multitasking across multiple stations in a fast-paced, high-performance scratch kitchen. The Line Cook will be pivotal in maintaining the high-quality standards of the restaurant by preparing meats, seafood, vegetables, and other ingredients according to recipe and plating standards. The position requires executing dishes at several stations, especially Saute, Grill, and Oven, while also supporting Salad, Pastry, and Prep stations as needed. Attention to detail is critical, ensuring consistent food quality, correct portioning, and beautiful presentation. Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized station for efficient service is also a key responsibility.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking direction from chefs, supervisors, and managers, while communicating effectively with both back-of-house and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service. They will assist in cleaning and closing procedures, supporting onboarding and training of new team members, and occasionally assisting with other kitchen roles like dishwashing, prep work, or expediting when trained. This role demands strong time management, a sense of urgency, and the ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. Employment in this position is compensated at an hourly rate between USD $19.00 and USD $21.00, reflecting the specialized skills and dedication required.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume or scratch kitchen
- Comfortable working multiple stations, especially Saute, Grill, and Oven
- Strong and effective communication
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, cleanliness, and industry best practices
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Flexible availability preferred, may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays
- Strong sense of urgency, time management, and teamwork
- Organized, reliable, and professional under pressure
- Motivated to deliver exceptional guest experiences through food
- Reliable transportation for dependable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume or scratch kitchen
- Comfortable working multiple stations, especially Saute, Grill, and Oven
- Familiarity with Salad, Prep, and Pastry stations is a plus
- Strong and effective communication
- Knowledge of kitchen safety, cleanliness, and industry best practices

Job Duties

- Assist in cleaning, closing procedures, and station breakdown using provided checklists
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Occasionally assist in other kitchen roles such as dish, prep, and expo when trained
