Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years of experience in transportation logistics or freight operations
  • At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a terminal or warehouse setting
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Fluent command in the English language
  • Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in Operations Management internal or external
  • Competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations OSHA standards and other relevant compliance requirements
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage conflict effectively
  • High level of integrity and accountability
  • Adaptability to changing operational needs and schedules
  • Ability to work different shifts dependent on the needs of the operation
  • Travel is required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in Operations Management internal or external is required
  • Must be competent and proficient in Microsoft Office Software products

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute strategies to deliver exceptional customer service drive profitability and meet performance goals across revenue budget and partner obligations
  • Foster a positive work environment by leading and developing terminal staff through goal setting performance management coaching and support
  • Maintain a clean safe and efficient LTL operation in a fast-paced setting
  • Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements by promoting accountability and supporting HR and safety initiatives
  • Oversee terminal operations analyze performance data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and operations excellence
  • Responsible for hiring all terminal personnel and overseeing the 90 day onboarding process
  • Ensure compliance with DOT OSHA and other regulatory agencies
