Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to successfully pass Benihana chef training program
- Previous chef or cook experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to cooking and cleaning
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of Benihana chef training program
- Previous experience as a chef or cook highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to interact and engage with guests in an entertaining manner
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Engages and entertains guests with cooking shows on hibachi tables
- Greets and welcomes guests promptly after their teppan order
- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using various kitchen equipment
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and cooking areas
- Ensures proper food portions and presentation according to company standards
- Responds promptly and courteously to guest requests
- Performs shift opening and closing duties as assigned
