- Previous experience as chef or cook highly desirable

Job Duties
- Greets and welcomes guests within 15 minutes of their teppan order
- Performs a cooking show for assigned tables ensuring interaction with guests is appropriate and courteous
- Provides guests with information about foods as they are being cooked or upon inquiries
- Responds promptly and courteously to guest requests
- Asks guests for cooking preferences and follows instructions
- Prepares a variety of food items for cooking using kitchen equipment
- Performs shift opening and closing duties such as cleaning and organizing
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and teppan areas
- Prepares foods according to portion and recipe specifications
- Handles foods following safety and rotation guidelines
- Uses tools and equipment to prepare food
- Adheres to guidelines on food presentation and alcoholic beverage service
- Notifies management of guest dissatisfaction or accidents
- Participates in special occasion celebrations and guest photography
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
