Within this vibrant organization, the Tennis Receptionist plays a crucial role in supporting the Tennis Department's smooth day-to-day operations. This position involves working closely with the Tennis Coordinator and Tennis Manager to deliver outstanding service to members, ensuring their tennis experiences are enjoyable and well-informed. The Tennis Receptionist's core responsibilities include scheduling court times and lessons, educating members about various tennis programs, lessons, and available tennis equipment, and assisting with retail sales and promotions within the Life Shop. By providing attentive and professional customer service, the Tennis Receptionist helps foster ongoing member relationships that encourage repeat visits and engagement in tennis activities.

This role demands strong communication and interpersonal skills, as the receptionist will routinely greet and interact with members to assess their needs and provide personalized recommendations. Maintaining an organized and welcoming tennis environment is also central to this position, requiring attention to detail in managing facilities and inventory. Moreover, the receptionist is responsible for handling billing operations and cash register reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy and accountability. Life Time seeks candidates who are working towards completing a high school diploma or GED, have prior customer service experience, and are capable of obtaining CPR and AED certification shortly after hiring. Job Duties

  • Greets, schedules lessons and court time and assists members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Explains all tennis programs, services, and equipment to members and assists them with determining their individual needs
  • Initiates, develops and maintains personalized relationships with members
  • Assists in ensuring all tennis facilities and equipment are clean, organized and in good working condition
  • Promotes all Life Time programs, products, and services
  • Ensures all daily billing is completed accurately and efficiently and reconciles the cash register at the end of a shift
  • Ensures the Life Shop is neat, orderly, and well-stocked
