Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED
  • Previous office experience
  • Ability to type 40 words per minute
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Professional appearance
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • CPR and first-aid certification
  • Ability to lift and bend up to 25 lbs
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening including marijuana
  • Clear background checks including FBI
  • Able to work in an office setting using standard office equipment

Job Duties

  • Compose and type routine correspondence including admission and discharge summaries
  • Copy correspondence as needed
  • Prepare outpatient and DUI patient files
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to staff
  • Take messages and schedule appointments
  • Greet visitors and direct them appropriately
  • Collect patients fees and prepare tally sheets
  • Provide relevant information to counselors, court, probation, and parole personnel
  • Maintain DUI/Outpatient Library and assign videos to counselors
  • Sort and route incoming and interoffice mail
  • Prepare outgoing mail
  • Maintain petty cash while on duty
  • Assist with intakes for treatment services
